These include the following:-

  • Register as an employer with HMRC

  • Operate a Pay As You Earn (PAYE) scheme

  • Keep tax records for your employees

  • Provide payslips and P60s to your employees

  • Make PAYE calculations for Tax and National Insurance

  • Make payments and returns as required to HMRC (there are fines for late submission)

These are just a few of your responsibilitiies as an employer. There are many more other requirements.
